Terms of Service - LIVEWIRE AUTO
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of livewireauto.com.au and any purchase made through our store. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About Us
LIVEWIRE AUTO ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian-based online retailer selling auto electrical and 4WD accessories. We currently ship within Australia only.
2. Use of This Website
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to place an order. You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account or placing an order, and not to use this site for any unlawful purpose or to misuse, hack, or interfere with the site's operation.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing are accurate. However:
- Colours and finishes may vary slightly from images due to screen display
- Fitment guides are provided as a reference only - please confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle/application before purchase, or contact us if unsure
- We reserve the right to correct any pricing or listing errors, and to cancel and refund an order affected by such an error
4. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you're making an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline (e.g. due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud). Payment is required in full at checkout via the payment methods offered on-site. All prices are listed in AUD and include GST where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
We'll send an order confirmation by email once your order is placed - this confirms we've received your order, not that it's been accepted or dispatched.
5. Shipping & Delivery
See our Shipping Policy for delivery timeframes, costs, and coverage. Risk in the goods passes to you once the item is delivered to the address provided at checkout.
6. Returns & Refunds
See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms limits your ACL rights, including your entitlement to a repair, replacement, or refund for goods that fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
7. Product Warranties
Many products carry a manufacturer's warranty, separate to your ACL rights. Warranty terms vary by brand and are detailed on individual product listings where applicable - contact us if you need warranty support with a purchase.
8. Installation & Use of Products
We sell auto electrical and 4WD components for installation and use at the customer's own discretion. Unless a product is described as professionally fitted by us, we are not responsible for:
- Damage arising from incorrect installation, wiring, or use of a product
- Compatibility issues not confirmed with us prior to purchase
- Consequential loss arising from DIY installation
We recommend professional installation for electrical and safety-critical components where you're unsure.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site - including text, images, logos, and product descriptions - is owned by or licensed to LIVEWIRE AUTO and may not be reproduced or used without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of this site or purchase of products is limited to the value of the relevant order. This does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
